Appointed as the Building Owners Surveyor in relation to the Party Wall etc Act 1996 in relation to the demolition of an existing property and construction of a modern architecturally designed luxury 3 storey house. The construction of a contagious piled basement structure set in a private road with neighbouring properties in close proximity required careful and sensitive handling.  Landers & Associates were appointed at an early stage to serve the relevant notices and subsequently agree Awards with the neighbouring appointed Party Wall Surveyors. Our experience in dealing with similar difficult sites together with our careful liaison with the design team, the contractor and the adjoining owner’s surveyors helped in agreeing the Awards in a challenging location.
